Cristina has developed new business relationships and has supported inside sales teams for the legal and healthcare markets. In her spare time, Cristina enjoys walking and reading and enjoys living in Austin with her son.
Under Lauren’s leadership, PetersGroup delivers consistent media and analyst relations, messaging, public relations and speaker program services to associations, well-funded startups and established companies such as IBM, Sony Ericsson, Metrowerks/Motorola, Texas Instruments and Vignette.Before founding PetersGroup, Lauren served as the director of worldwide marketing and communications for a systems and software Fujitsu company serving the top 200 retailers worldwide. She has served in senior marketing and public relations management roles, and worked extensively with companies throughout the technology industry.Lauren has taught communications and strategy courses at The University of Texas at Austin, participated in McComb School of Business LeaderShape panels and served as a featured speaker at national and international events for Public Relations Society of America. She has served as a board member of professional and charitable organizations including the Austin Technology Council, Center for Child Protection and A Legacy of Giving. She is a member of PRSA and the current marketing chair for Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world’s leading partnership of global public relations firms.
