Issue

BRIO Tuscan Grille is a BRAVO | BRIO Restaurant Group (BBRG) concept known for their Tuscan-style menu. PetersGroup was selected to launch the first BRIO in Austin and promote four pre-opening dining experiences. In addition, the goals were to reach a specific target customer and provide a robust, real-time staff-training environment.

Idea

PetersGroup showcased the spirit of BRIO by reaching out to local groups with personal invitations to the restaurant, and partnering with the Heart Hospital of Austin for Heart Healthy Month. More than ten city leaders attended, and local media coverage of the grand opening ran following the ribbon-cutting ceremony. In addition, PetersGroup connected BRIO to more than 2,000 area community influencers and business leaders.

Impact

BRIO was introduced to a network of essential community members that led to word-of-mouth publicity, coverage and sustained business. Our comprehensive media outreach program reached more than 900,000 people. BRIO corporate conveyed that based on the promotional jumpstart, the Austin store started operating ahead of revenue plan during the first 60 days.
