Kenichi, an upscale restaurant in the heart of downtown Austin, engaged PetersGroup to create and execute an integrated communications program that would re-launch the Kenichi concept, raise community visibility, secure regular coverage, and establish a consistent voice.


PetersGroup re-focused the Kenichi concept around a progressive and accurate messaging platform, introduced the restaurant to target influencers and potential customers, executed a strategic media plan that reached target writers and reporters with the Kenichi message, and provided counsel for consistent and image-conscious customer interactions.


As a result of our program execution and communications guidance, Kenichi was featured on multiple highly relevant local food blogs and three segments for a popular television food program. We provided local media with a satisfactory Kenichi experience and successfully connected the restaurant with target influencers at local hotels and residential areas.
