Issue
The Center for Childhood Protection (CCP), a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, sought to raise public awareness and understanding of their mission. They needed visibility to gain support for their new Travis County services center and strived to become the principal media resource on child protection issues.

Idea
PetersGroup re-designed the CCP website to create a consistent brand message and mission statement. We designed and implemented a media, industry and investor outreach program to educate the public and raise awareness of the organization’s mission.

Impact
Our effective outreach secured more than 450 news stories about the Center for Child Protection. CCP raised $12M in new funding through public capital campaign, and in 2007, the Kozmetsky Center for Child Protection was successfully opened. Today, CCP has over $9M in assets, 74% of which is funded by private sources.
